Event photography can take many forms and over the space of the year I can end up covering a mixed bag, but Halloween weekend always offers up its own Photographic spin on trick or treat. This year was a treat. I spent the weekend working at the Halloween Bash Tattoo Convention. Now I’m going to take the liberty and assume that not everybody who may read this has any idea what a tattoo convention is. In brief take around 60 or so Tattoo artists, supply them with everything they need to be able to work safely outside of their studios and find a venue to put them in. Fill said venue with Tattoo collectors, fans and the curious. Supply some entertainment add a bit of retail therapy over the weekend and bobs your colourfully covered uncle you have your self a Convention.
Next weekend will not be quite as interesting….
